So I just had my Movable Type software suspended by my host, Midphase.com, after I rebuilt the montly archives. This was baffling as they claim to be Movable Type compatible in their feature list. I was able to get it reinstated, but I obviously can't have it shut down everytime I make a change to one of my templates.
In the event that I can't come to some agreement with them, does anyone have any good hosting suggestions? I need MySQL and at least 500MB of space, but I'd like mailing lists, lotsa bandwidth, multiple domains and subdomains. Oh, and some decent stats. I'm willing to spend as much as 20 per month, but I'd like to spend 15 or under. Your thoughts?

I use DreamHost, and love them. Lots of space and bandwidth, and decent support when/if you need it.

My first suggestion is to switch from MovableType to WordPress, so you won't run into processor-crippling rebuilds anymore.
Next, if you're not a wuss you should think about switching to a VPS... I'm over at Tektonic.net for $15 a month with 3GB of space and anything I want to set up or add (the default installation has pretty much everything you'd need).

Another vote here for ICDSoft. I've been with them for almost 2 years and you get a lot for your money. I have the basic 333MB account which has been fine for less than $5 a month, but you can also get a 1GB account.

Dreamhost has been good for UKAZU. They have continually upped the features, bandwith and storage over the past several years. Now 9.95 will buy you something like 800mb of storage and 6gb of traffic. PHP/MySQL, IMAP support with squirrelmail and spam assassin, WebDav for calendars... lots of little goodies. Pretty good control panel too. Customer service has been helpful and always responds to e-mail within 24 hours, usually within 12. I am happy.

I use site5.com, and I couldn't be happier.
Since they upgraded the servers, I've had zero issues with my MT install.
