As I sit at home on this lazy Saturday, channel flipping becomes a wonderful way to pass the time. Ten minutes ago I happened upon a movie that was a favorite of mine when I was a little kid. That movie is Annie. It was one of the movies I would watch dozens of times. Watching it now brings me back to weekends on the couch with a babysitter, gripping the cushions as Annie climbs up the railroad tracks on the bridge. Thank God Punjab was there to save her. The other movie I watched probably hundreds of times was The Wizard of Oz.
Now I want to know, what movies did you watch as a little one? Don't hold back as I want to hear them all, especially from people whom I know read this site but never leave comments. This is your time to shine.

The Wizard of Oz. You say hundreds of times, my mom and I estimate I've seen it about a thousand. Seriously. Interestingly, my copy was taped from TV, not a real purchased video, and the movie taped before it was Annie. So I saw that one many times as well, but I usually just fast-forwaded to my movie.
Others I watched too many times to count: Adventures in Babysitting, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, the Breakfast Club, Singin' in the Rain, Rear Window and Breakfast at Tiffany's. There are probably more, but those were my childhood favorites. I was never really into movies actually made for children.
Oh, but I also saw movies like the Mighty Ducks series (especially D2), the Sandlot, and Little Rascals over and over at my brothers' insistence, and grew to love them too. Enough to have my own copies of the last two. :)
This is my longest comment ever, but that's what you get when you ask a film kid about movies.

That's funny about Wizard of Oz being taped because my copy was as well. I can't remember exactly what was before it. I wish I could. And I wholeheartedly approve of long comments, so keep 'em coming.
