The Olymipcs. I have been watching the Olympics a lot more often than I thought I would. When they began I scoffed at the opening ceremonies and claimed that I didn’t care about the Olympics. Well I lied, sorta.
Here are the events I care about: 1. Anything skiing 2. Anything snowboarding
Here are the events I don’t care about: 1. Anything else 2. Especially figure skating
I remembered that the only reason I don’t watch snowboarding/skiing events is because they’re rarely on or on at inopportune times. Also, the hype of the Olympics just makes everything that much more exciting. So, I’ve been watching and will until there are no more snow-sliding events left.

Ouch ... K Co (and my little sister, also a skater) is gunna get you for this one, and rightfully so.
If you watched the ice skating the other night, you may disagree with your diss towards the event. It was actually quite exciting. And they're athletes just the same. Speed skating is a good sport to watch. And luge (you missed Germany's "Flying White Sausage," an athletic legend, if you don't care about the other sports). Just a thought. If you watched some of the other events, you'd realize they're just as worthy as the popular ones.
And most of the skiing/snowboarding is being shown during prime time, because they are marquee events.

I don't deny that ice skaters are athletes, I just don't enjoy watching the sport. I definitely think they're talented b/c I could never hurl myself into the air, spin 3 times and land on my skates.
So no diss intented, it's just not my thing.
