It seems as though a law was just passed banning amateur photographers from taking pictures around the World Trade Center site. They claim that people are profiting from the pictures they take--treating it as a tourist site. Okay, so that's evil. What bothers me is that this is an amazing/horrible time in the world and it should be documented. Who's to say that professional news photographers can do it better than an amateur? I think it is utterly bogus because I know if I was in NYC I would want to be taking pictures right now.
